A nationwide drug prevention campaign in Italy has exceeded more than one million informational booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the drug awareness news eu ai act programme known as “The Truth About Drugs”, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their risks to young people and communities.
Approximately five hundred volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in schools, businesses and urban centres. The campaign focuses on raising awareness before drug use begins, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a simple way.
The campaign is connected to broader humanitarian initiatives supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
